To check out a video,
click until you find a video you would enjoy. Click "Download." The software will begin downloading and count down for progressive playback. When progressive playback finishes, you may begin
watching your video on your computer, even though it has not finished downloading.
For MyLibraryDV to work on your computer
You must have Windows Media Player version 10 or higher.
This update is free.
Visit the Help Center on the MyLibraryDV software
You will find useful videos that explain how to hook your computer up to your television.
Most videos and movies check out for 7 days,
and there is no fee for these movies and videos. Simply check them out again if you want to renew them. You can have up to 10 videos checked out at once. These don't count against your videos and DVDs that you have checked out from the library collection.
Hollywood Favorite Movies and Sony Pictures
Movies check out a little differently.
You can download one of these movies every 24 hours. You can keep each of these videos for 7 days, and they don't count toward your 10 downloaded movies. However, as soon as you start playing one of these movies, you must finish it within 24 hours.
One hint for first-time users
Not all the movies install on the first launch of the software. The "Hollywood Favorites" and "Sony Pictures" movies take about10 minutes before they show up. After you have had the software for
about 10 minutes, close the software with the "x" in the upper-right-
hand corner, and reopen the software by clicking on the red TV on your desktop. Now when you click "Movies" you should see all five movie categories. This only happens the first time you use the software.
