Ready Player One Escape Room

Gamers, now is time to test your wits against the clock! In this timed escape room, you must use logic to find the keys that will reveal the location of the egg— and the ultimate treasure. Best suited for ages 10 and up. Registration preferred.

Book Tournament Party

Did you have a favorite book this year? Help lead them to victory by voting for them at our book tournament party! Elephant and Piggie, Flat Stanley, Percy Jackson, My Little Ponies, and more will face off to earn the title of North Side Library’s favorite book. Prizes and snacks!

Saturday Art Special: Paper Airplanes

Kids! Do you love to make paper airplanes? Stop by the South Side Library and make Paper Airplanes from 10 a.m. to 4 p.m. in the Children's Area! Choose a design, fold it, and watch it fly! For youth ages 5-12. This is a drop-in, unsupervised program. Parent/guardian must be present with children. Crafts are available while supplies last.

AARP Tax Preparation Assistance

Visit the East Side Library every Wednesday and Saturday from 10:00 am to 3:30 pm for tax preparation assistance from AARP. All help will be given on a first come, first serve basis.

(On Wednesdays, the meeting room will be open for tax assistance only; no library services will be available.)

National Button Week: Sewing Buttons Collecting and Crafting

Find out about the history and mystery of sewing buttons from around the world. There will be displays of buttons and button books. Every attendee will receive a sampler packet of buttons, all labeled for new learners to identify their buttons at home. A question and answer session will follow the program.


Stop by the Children's area at Central Library to explore, create,and play! This is an unstaffed program where activities are self-led. Parent/Guardian must be present with child, and supplies may be limited.
